FAQs

Two highly skilled and friendly instructors can help all ages reach new heights. They will teach you how to enter a tree’s canopy using ropes, knots and karabiners, whilst being securely attached in a harness at all times. Once at the top of the tree you will gain an experience which can’t be found on the ground whilst hanging out in the canopy and if you’re feeling brave you could try some branch walking before returning safely to the ground. Each session is run for up to 8 people, creating a unique and intimate experience.

Activities are suitable for ages from 6 to 100! We encourage the whole family to participate or feel free to watch and photograph that special moment of your child climbing high into the canopy of a tree for the first time.

Those wishing to book in birthday parties may wish to consider booking consecutive hours if the party is larger than 8 people.

For details about how we can adapt activities for those with special needs please contact info@bigtreeclimbing.co.uk in advance and we would be delighted to discuss your requirements.

One hour

How much does a one hour session cost?
£20 but some venues may vary slightly

How can we book this for a birthday party?
If you want your birthday private to be completely private, you will need to book all eight spaces in the hour slot regardless if you have less than eight people taking part. If you want your party to last two or three hours, you need to book all the slots in those consecutive hours.

I am accompanying my children, do I have to buy a ticket for myself?
No, you only need to buy one if you are planning to participate in the climbing. If you plan just to watch you do not need a ticket.

That is fine. As long as you can quote the name of the individual who bought the ticket.
